Lead Chromithiocyanate
The normal salt has not been obtained. The addition of the potassium salt to a solution of lead acetate gives a red precipitate, which when dried over sulphuric acid has the composition Pb3[Cr(SCN)6]2.4PbO.12H2O. This, with water, becomes yellow, and forms the compound Pb2[Cr2(SCN)10].4PbO.9H2O.
