Chromium Chlorantimonate, Cr(SbCl₆)₃

Chromium Chlorantimonate or Chromium Metantimonichloride, Cr(SbCl₆)₃.13H₂O, has been obtained as grey-violet, flat, hygroscopic needles by the action of antimony pentachloride on chromic chloride. The salt may be formulated according to Werner's scheme as follows:

[SbCl₆]₃[Cr(OH₂)₆].7H₂O.
