Sodium Thiochromite, Na2Cr2S4
Sodium Thiochromite, Na2Cr2S4, is obtained when 1 part of potassium chromate is fused with 30 parts of sulphur and 15 parts each of sodium carbonate and potassium carbonate. The small brownish-grey crystals have a density of 2.55 at 15° C.
