Cobalt Dichromate, CoCr2O7.H2O

Cobalt Dichromate, CoCr2O7.H2O, has been obtained as black, lustrous, deliquescent crystals by heating together cobalt carbonate and chromic acid in aqueous solution at a high temperature.

The double salts, CoCr2O7.(NH4)2Cr2O7.2H2O and CoCr2O7.2Hg(CN)2.7H2O, have been described.
